JOB SUMMARY
General Facility Maintenance Assistant role is to ensure a safe and secure environment in the work premises at all times by keeping a vigilant look-out and reporting any suspicious activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
The General Facility Maintenance Assistant will be reporting to the HR Executive and will be accountable and authorized for the following:
· Able to perform the essential functions of walking and interacting with employees, tenants and visitors on site.
· Secure the work premises and personnel by monitoring the surroundings through surveillance device/s and patrolling the property where necessary.
· Must be vigilant to the surroundings, ensure safe conditions in the work premise and report any suspicious personnel and activities to the HR Executive and top management immediately.
· Assist visitors to park at the correct location properly while moving their vehicles in a safe manner and within speed limit.
· Record the details of all visitors who enter the premise in the company’s log book before issuing the visitor’s pass and collect the passes upon exit. Update them on the assembly point when there is an emergency evacuation.
· Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees, tenants and visitors.
· Assisting procurement/ inventory/ logistics executive as and when required.
· Follow safe work practices and procedures.
· Ensure company and QHSE policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
· Perform other assignment and duties as and when required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Ensure that all drivers and motorcyclists comply with and follow the company’s policies and procedures accordingly.
· Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all employees, tenants, visitors and the premises.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
· Primary level education or equivalent.
· Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in general maintenance activities.
