• You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the CRANE ENGINEERING SECTION (CODE 211) of the WATERFRONT SUPPORT DEPARTMENT (CODE 200) TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY (TRIREFFAC) located in KINGS BAY, GA.
• You will be assigned as a Crane Mechanical Engineering liaison representative between TRIREFFAC Crane Engineering Branch and other departments, commands, etc.
• You will provide field investigation, including accident evaluations for accomplishment of design, maintenance, operation, inspection, testing, overhaul and alterations in accordance with NAVFAC P-307 and other guidance.
• You will design the mechanical altercations to existing WHE/MHE systems necessary to accommodate changing conditions and requirements, and review proposed mechanical alterations and engineering reports.
• You will ensure adequacy of design for changes to existing Weight and Material Handling Equipment (WHE/MHE) assigned to the Kings Bay complex.

• Provide input to Senior Engineers on technical feasibility, design concepts, and cost estimates for proposed minor construction, repair and maintenance, energy retrofit, and renovation projects.
• Develop and coordinates design criteria for the construction or renovation of a variety of facilities.
• Make recommendation on the feasibility of concepts and conflicting program and engineering requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates for each phase of assigned projects, including escalation and inflation factors, description, and justifications for use in obtaining project funding and bid evaluations.
• Provide input in the preparation of technical and economic feasibility studies for development and presentation of project and budget proposals.

• Managing and maintaining building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systems
• Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical developments
