There is an exciting opportunity to join the community facilities team as an Office Manager. The community facilities support team undertake a variety of tasks to administer bookings within North Lanarkshire’s community facilities and school estate.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Assistant Business Manager in the provision of an efficient and effective service, delivering high standards of customer care to the local community, through the management of the support function.

An SVQ3, HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent is desirable for this role. You must have experience of supervising a team and be able to demonstrate extended experience in an administrative environment along with excellent keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Office computer applications, particularly in Excel for reporting purposes. You must have the ability to extract information from various systems and report on this in line with requirements. Excellent communication, administration and customer care skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise both your own work and that of the team.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to meet deadlines and, at times, work under pressure. It is important that you have the ability to direct the team in a positive manner, while also working on your own initiative. A flexible approach to work is required along with an understanding, caring approach in dealing with customers.
