Property Services are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician on a temporary full time basis (35hrs/week) to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building positive relationships with key stakeholders and deliver cost effective design solutions within our extensive portfolio.

We are seeking a highly motivated person who has a determination to succeed and deliver first class results with a strong customer focus. The role requires someone who has the ability to balance a diverse workload, prioritise tasks, plan and meet deadlines.

Your main focus in this role will be to assist with planning the delivery and implementation of the Council’s Capital Programme within the Design Team. The base for the post is negotiable within Argyll and Bute and we currently operate out of offices in both Dunoon and Lochgilphead. Dawnfresh Farming Ltd is the largest Trout Farming Company operating in the UK and we are looking to recruit:

Husbandry Technician (freshwater) – Braevallich, Near Lochgilphead

This role is a crucial part of the operations process and focuses upon all aspects of successful trout production, including but not limited to:

Feeding, control and inspection of fish

Housekeeping and maintenance

Inspection and maintenance of equipment and facilities around the farm

Monitoring and maintaining fish health and welfare

Daily environmental checks

Boat handling around the farm

Maintaining high biosecurity levels

General farm tasks to keep the whole operation running

A full driving licence is essential.

You can expect to earn between £27,033 - £31,219 per annum. Other benefits include:
