Shift Pattern:

Up to 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (24/7 Operation)

Duties include:

Room Attendant:

• Clean hotel rooms to required standards and by required deadlines
• Complete regular cleaning routines (task of the day) as per training
• Change bed linen and towels and make beds
• High and low dusting and polishing furniture
• Clean bathrooms, including vanity, sink, bath/shower, tiles / glass, and walls
• Vacuum and mop floors
• Replace stock of guest supplies, such as shampoo, soap, and brochures e
• Re-stock drinks in the mini bar
• Re-stock and clean equipment used

In your role as a Housekeeping Associate, you may also be required to perform other duties like:

Linen Porter

• Ensure the delivery of clean linen to designated areas in the hotel by specified deadlines
• Ensure the collection of soiled linen from designated areas in the hotel by specified deadlines
• Check all linen cupboards on a regular basis and ensure they are maintained in a tidy, organized manner and fully stocked
• Keep the service areas clean and tidy
• Wait for the linen delivery at the times specified by the hotel
• Bring all the dirty linen to the linen room, classify it, and count it
• Return damaged linen and ensuring it is accounted for by following the required procedure
• Pushing and pulling of linen trolleys throughout the hotel

Public Area Cleaner

• Clean designated public areas of the hotel to required standards and by required deadlines
• Complete regular cleaning routines (task of the day)
• Vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows
• Dust and polish furniture and re-stock and clean equipment used
• Replace stock of supplies, such as soap, toilet rolls, brochures etc.
• Re-stock and clean equipment used
• Attend and provide input at housekeeping meetings. Act on any special instructions and pass on relevant information
• Be responsible for all keys in your possession
• Report anything which may be considered a Health & Safety hazard.

Roles and responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's.
• You will keep our HGV's safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers.
• Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
• Ensure all workshop tools, personal tools and welding equipment must be secured and where possible locked away each night. Welding and electrical equipment should be turned off and left in a safe condition when not in use.
• Attend roadside breakdowns if required and work as part of a team.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
• Hold a HGV driving licence.

Hours: 48 hours per week, rotating shifts:

Early shift: Monday - Friday 05:00 - 15:00

Late shift: Monday - Thursday 13:00 -10.30 (Friday 13:00 - 20:30 & Saturday 07:00 -12:00)

Permanent Role

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £41,623.66 per annum plus Veolia benefits - you will also be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000

We are looking for experienced Repair and Maintenance Operatives to join our client working within the area of Cardiff.

Reporting to the Head of Property, the successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking both responsive and planned maintenance tasks to properties within their business. You will be required to carry out repair/installation as necessary. This role involves working from home with daily travel to carry out repairs and maintenance in the properties where tenants reside.

The successful candidates will have experience in general maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting & decorating and groundwork. You will also be involved in cleaning and clearing communal areas such as offices, toilets and external areas.
