Salary

The on-target earning potential for this role is £28,832.00 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £28,000.00 plus a qualified estimate of £832.00 gratuities per annum.

About the role

The IT Technician is a brand new role reporting into the IT Manager and will be based on site and will provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for staff and liaise with our 3rd party IT service providers. The role will assist in bringing more IT support in house, handle 1st and 2nd line issues and support with delivering IT projects.

The duties of our IT Technician include:

· Provide onsite IT support for staff.

· Build, roll out, and replace PCs and hardware/software.

· Set up and manage mobile devices and tablets.

· Liaise with 3rd party IT service providers to ensure smooth business operations.

· Maintain on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory.

· Manage user accounts including new user creation, and processing leavers and movers.

· Maintain an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers.

· Continuously improve IT documentation and policies.

· Assist Operations with daily IT issues as needed.

· Supporting and implementing new IT projects.

About you

· 2 years+ experience of 1st, 2nd line IT support.

· Good knowledge of Windows PCs, PC Builds, mobile phones, MS Office suite.

· Good knowledge of Active Directory, MFA, Azure AD / 365, Intune.

· Basic network awareness and troubleshooting skills.

· Familiarisation of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

· Familiarisation of monitoring tools, ticketing software.

· ITIL certification (advantageous)

Key responsibilities include:

* Completing online ticket requests with a high level of diligence
* Responding to user requests, providing assistance, and offering training where appropriate

* Mobile Phone/Laptop setup and allocation

What we are looking for:



* IT Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, HP) or related experience
* Friendly and professional communication skills across all correspondence with end users
* Minimum of 1 year in an IT support role
* Experience of working to deadlines/SLAs in a technical helpdesk environment
* Experience in delivering a high level of customer service
* Technical experience working with IT infrastructure; servers, mobile devices, networking equipment, etc.
* Experience in delivering support to retail teams (Epos knowledge is highly desirable)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office 365, MS Exchange Server 2019

Ascot GrangeCare Home, based in Ascot, Berkshire is looking for someone proactive and enthusiastic to take charge of the facilities team and join us as our Maintenance Co-Ordinator. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for your residents and team members, ensuring the smooth running of facilities and maintaining an excellent standard of general upkeep for the building.

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have prior experience working within a facilities team and already have, or be willing to complete, the Health and Safety Level 2 training. You will have a solid understanding of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical.
