We are seeking a dedicated Repairs and Maintenance Officer to ensure our Properties are kept in good condition. You will be part of a small team who report directly to the Reactive Maintenance Coordinator and will be responsible for effective and efficient delivery of a broad range of repairs and maintenance services.
Principal duties will include:
• Provide responsive repairs and maintenance service, addressing faults, failures and defects to buildings/assets
• Contractor supervision to ensure quality and standards of work, and compliance to statutory obligations across County Council sites
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
You will need:
• Proven experience in building repairs and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
