Here at The Castle School Education Trust (CSET) we have a highly experienced partnership team supporting our schools to be the best they can be for our students. We are a progressive and agile workforce on the cusp of further growth and expansion so this will be a busy and varied role for someone who wants to challenge themselves and add value to their community. You will have a base at one of our schools (currently Mangotsfield Secondary but with a move to Marlwood School imminent) and will need to be able to travel to all of our sites but all of our schools are easily commutable from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and South Wales.
The Role The Estates and Facilities Officer will play a pivotal role supporting the Directorate to ensure that the estates and facilities compliance across the trust is up to date, with associated documentation managed efficiently and effectively. You will manage the compliance management information system along with any developments of it, along with coordinating compliance calendars, analysing trust wide reports, producing detailed reports for our trustees which supports the Trust to ensure that all schools are compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will build relationships with stakeholders across the trust, and will need to be confident in working independently too. The Person Proficient in using MIS systems, Every platform would be desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organisation. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. IT literate. Experience in a similar role within a School or public sector environment would be desirable, but not essential
