We will provide a training plan for the successful student to ensure a full and engaging experience. The post includes hands-on work experience, and 1 day per week study leave, which is currently a combination of self-directed learning and college time. The college enrolment will be for February 2025. You will study to achieve: - Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, a two-year training program with and End Point Assessment (EPA) process at the end stages of the course.Learners who achieve the Pearson Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians can apply for professional registration as pharmacy technicians, with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Entry requirements for this regionally funded post are as follows: GCSEs: Maths C, English and Science (at C or above) and 3 other subjects at a minimum of grade C . Or Pharmacy Services QCF Level 2 or equivalent with 12 months current experience and hold a functional skills level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Or Three A levels, one of which is a relevant science subject and Maths C (GCSE or equivalent). Or Degree in science or humanities and Maths C (GCSE or equivalent). THE ROLE
As a full-service firm, you will get exposure to all aspects of business advice, audit, and accountancy services.

From day one you will start developing key business, personal and technical skills, including:

- Preparing accounts using a variety of industry software
- Completing tax compliance returns including self-assessment tax returns and VAT
- Participating in onsite audits as part of a wider specialist team
- Advising and working closely with a range of clients from large corporations to sole traders
- Researching and preparing client presentations and reports
- Assisting within our payroll department
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to build strong and meaningful relationships.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
To start on your path to success, you will:

- Have at least 5 GCSE passes grade 6-9, including Maths and English
- Be on track to achieve or have already achieved a minimum of two B’s at A-Level or above
- Have excellent IT skills, including good working knowledge of Excel
- Legal right to work in the UK.

During this two year training program, you will learn the knowledge and skills, which you will need to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician. Youwill be given study time to achieve the knowledge component of the training program and you will develop your skills by undertaking on the job training. You will be expected to dispense medication, undertake medicine management duties, replenish and maintain stock and support the dispensary and ward staff. This is a demanding role and will require study both in work and in your own time. The expectation is that you manage your time to facilitate the completion of your studies. You will receive full support from an Educational Supervisor and qualified pharmacy assessors to complete the qualification.
