Purpose of the Job:

• Responsible for vehicle repair, diagnostic, service maintenance.
• Ensure all assigned jobs are carried out according to Company's Quality Standards.

Job Duties:

• To carry out Maintenance checks, basic annual preventive maintenance for trucks
• To perform all repairs (With guidance from Team Leaders where appropriate)
• To ensure Utilization, Efficiency and Productivity is achieved.
• To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order.
• To keep Team Leader updated on the repair details and repair requirements.
• Understand and adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures (Warranty tagging of parts, return and storage of warranty parts etc)
• Ensure good housekeeping of work bay.
• Accountable for all tools and equipment handling and usage.
• Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
• Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance with good quality practice and procedures adhering to manufacturers standard
• Lead by example to ensure high level of Health & Safety performance within the area of responsibility.
• To attend to breakdown where necessary and to be equipped with a valid Class 3/4 driving license.
• Any other duties assigned by your immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks
• Basic Vehicle Principles and Concepts.
• Basic engine, transmission and brake system knowledge.
• Multi-meter basic electrical values.
• Knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram.
• Preferred with valid Class 3 / 4 / 5 driving license
• Able to be on 24/7 on standby
