Utility System Repair:

• You will install, recognize the problem or cause of faulty equipment, and making repairs on a variety of electric and gas hot water boilers and their compressors, condensers, coils, fans, electrical/air operated control systems.
• You will install, modify, and repair by setting up piping routes and equipment locations, placing and cutting openings in floors, walls, and ceilings that may be constructed of concrete, wood, plaster, metal, etc. Shall perform work typical of a journeyman plumber; shall install, modify, and repair utility systems and equipment such as water, gas, and supply, drain, condensate return and vent lines.
• You will be responsible for developing a good working knowledge of the Department of Veterans Affairs boiler safety directive 1810 and other applicable VA policies and procedures.
• You will perform major and minor repairs to equipment and operate in accordance with VA regulations and directives, facility policies, local standard operating procedures and good engineering practice.
• You use equipment instruction sheets, blueprints, drawings, and oral or written instructions. Performs work using tools of the general mechanic trade, pipe wrenches, gas welding torches, grinders, drill presses, small hand tools, and electrical diagnostic meters.

• You will make periodic visual checks of equipment to ensure proper operation; operates manual and automatic control instruments and high pressure gas/oil fired boilers required for continuous Boiler Plant Operation.
• You will checks and make adjustments to feed water regulators and pumps. Checks steam, airflow, gas, and/or oil meters and fuel gas-temperature records. Fires on oil eight hours or more each month. Fires up or takes boilers offline. Frequently checks water levels and steam pressure gauges; opens intake valves to add water or to blow off steam. Ensures proper operation of heat recovery system to maximize heat recovery and minimize thermal pollution.
• You will calculate treatment requirements, making determination of required chemicals to be added to boilers and de-aerating tank to treat water or control corrosion/scale formation.
• You will accomplish system/equipment repairs or adjustments noting technical difficulties in system/equipment operations (e.g., rerolls tubes; repairs refractories and pumps; replaces fan motors; dismantles/cleans/repacks valves, pistons, and/or seals; mounts, connects, and adjusts transformers, motors, electrodes, relays; solenoids, rheostats, aqua-stats, stack switches, and/or ducts.
• You will operate and test fire/disaster alarm equipment and emergency communications. Services key role in sounding station fire/disaster alarms and maintaining emergency communications with local public safety offices/officials.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Performs rough and finish grading maintenance of roads and grounds and construction of new roads and ground areas.
• Assists with new installation and repair and maintenance of irrigation and plumbing systems.
• Assists with carpentry, welding and cement work in the maintenance of Project and recreational facilities.
• Continuously performs inspection, preventative maintenance, minor repairs and servicing of all equipment assigned.
• Assists Heavy Equipment Mechanic on minor and major repairs and performs servicing and minor repairs.
• Operates a variety of equipment such as ditch-witch, garden tractors, snow removal equipment, small forklifts and power equipment, etc.
• Operates motorboats for which licensed and qualified.
• Makes cuts and fills, piles earth for embankments, backfills, etc.

• Oversees the execution of organizational policies, procedures, and regulations, and is responsible for staff management, coordination, and execution of mission support programs that support organizational goals.
• Develops uniform management policies and staff management principles and guidance for all mission support programs.
• Provides subordinate supervisors with guidance and procedures designed to effectively support the mission requirements of the organization.
• Plans, directs, and controls the allocation and utilization of all authorized resources for execution of the mission.
• Provides authoritative interpretation and instructions on laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and develops guidance on appropriate course of action.

About The Role
As a CCTV Operator you will be monitoring security systems in a busy control room at a client site. Your main aim will be to ensure that all electronic systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, processes and procedures meet service levels and the security needs of the business.

You will also:

• Liaise with the client, police and other agencies as necessary
• Co-ordinate and prioritise incidents from the Control Room
• Monitor the electronic security systems on site
• Produce reports on false alarms and response times.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Knowledge of control room operations
• Knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems
• SIA PSS licence essential
• CCTV licence essential,
• Previous experience preferred

CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is hiring an experienced Production System Administrator with expertise and technical experience, managing high availability Production systems, in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. 

The position is located at the Pentagon.

Standard work coverage is 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

The ideal candidate will have significant VMware experience, with strong active directory skills.  This person will work within a team that is responsible for system maintenance, software upgrades, and security compliance.  The candidate will also serve as a key team member for upcoming technology refresh projects.  Day to day activities include responding to support requests, supporting system installations, interfacing with the Pentagon Joint Service Provider (JSP) and day to day maintenance. The candidate will also contribute to operational and system support documentation in accordance with the program’s configuration management procedures, regularly notifying the team lead when problems or issues arise that are outside the normal scope of work.  This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.

More About the Role

• Provide technical expertise in the installation, implementation, operation, maintenance and security of Microsoft Windows servers and proprietary applications.

• Support Microsoft systems, virtual images and HP hardware.

• Resolve application and system software problems.

• Evaluate and recommend hardware/software enhancements as needed including management of system updates and patches.

• Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues in production.

• Monitor and optimize system performance.

• Configure security on supported platforms, research security issues / warning notifications for applicability and implementation of patches and fixes. 

• Ensure backup procedures are in place and executed on a timely basis.

• Interfacing with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.

• Performing scheduled and allocated work, providing guidance on modernization initiatives, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an Active Top-Secret Government security clearance.

• Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form.

• Minimum 3 Years of VMware administration

• Minimum of 4 Years onsite at the Pentagon

• Strong technical background, with a minimum of five (5) solid years of experience providing system administration, production support for Windows Operating systems.

• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter and highly proactive

• Thorough knowledge of server and system administration principles

• Experience with DoD STIGs

• Experience working with High Availability systems.

• DoD experience, a plus.

• 8570 Compliance (Security + and Technical Certification (Microsoft or VMware)) Required

• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Management Systems or acceptable work experience required.

• Understanding of DoD hardening standards

• Experience with Group Policy, DNS, and acquiring and implementing DoD generated certificates.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

Candidate will perform the duties and responsibilities of a Contact Center Operator for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Contact Center. Responsible for responding to and routing public and customer inquiries.  Candidate will need to respond to incoming calls from the customers to take their requests, answer questions and inquiries, provide information and handle complaints. Additionally, agents are responsible for making outbound VIP calls to set conference-calls while providing the highest level of customer service.
