A fantastic opportunity for the right candidate who is interested in electrical engineering to become part of a small team working out of our Inverness base at Lotland Trade Park, building unique and bespoke ROV's for the aquaculture and renewables industries.
As an assembly/service technician at MoROV, your duties will be a mixture of working at our workshop in Inverness or being out on-site anywhere within Scotland. We manufacture almost all our components in-house, so when in the workshop you will be assembling all of the ROVs sub-components, such as lights, thrusters, cameras, etc., up to assembling the full ROV. When out on-site, you may simply be delivering a new machine and connecting it up or repairing and maintaining an existing machine.
Workshop Responsibilities:
• Component Assembly: Working with various ROV sub-components such as lights, thrusters, and cameras.
• Full ROV Assembly: Integrating all components to build complete ROV units.
On-Site Responsibilities:
• Machine Delivery and Setup: Transporting and connecting new ROVs at client locations across Scotland and further afield.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Performing routine maintenance and addressing any issues with existing ROVs on-site.
