The Liaison Diversion (L&D) service sits as a top priority within the government’s criminal justice agenda. The L&D serviceoperatesby referring offenders who are identified with having mental health, learning disabilities, or other vulnerabilities toan appropriate treatmentor support service. The service is high profile with research being conducted to feed into national policy, service development and best practice.
The service forms a service provision that spansregion of Thames Valley. This post has a primary base inReading, withsomepotentialtravelacrossThames Valleyfor training,meetingsetc.
The post holderis required toprovide administrative and clerical support to theThames ValleyL&Dservice. The post holder will work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team andassistin the promotion of high-quality service.
• To act asBusiness SupportAdministrator for Thames ValleyL&Dservice
• Take minutes atManagement,Team& ProjectMeetings and follow up actions including administration of invitations, distribution of agendas and room booking
• Preparationand in-putof roster schedules usingHealthRoster
• Managing changes in shift requirements and absences (e.g., holiday & sickness) and updating roster schedules
• Support New Starters through the Trust Induction and local onboarding process (including ID verification, Police vetting, IT access and equipment)
• Support the Admin & Data Manager withdata collection, filtering andcleansingtolocateand correct problems. Producing ad-hoc data reports as and whenrequested.
• Liaise and communicate effectively with external agencies including other mental health services,policeand service users
• Monitor and report on the allocation and use of Lone Worker Devices
• Assistin screening of telephone calls and transferringaccurateinformation to the clinicians
• To accept tasks under the direct supervision of the clinicians and Admin Manager,maintainingclose liaison with those concerned and reporting back (including providing support for ad hoc projects and new service implementations)
• Tomonitorstationery, uniformandPPEstocksand re-order as necessary(using Unit4ERP online procurement system)
• Monitor staff supervisions ensuringtimelyaction byManagers.

2. Higher National Certificate, Vocational Qualifications level 4 or 5, foundation degree, Higher National Diploma,diplomaor equivalent level of knowledge.
