Works in the Directorate of Plans & Force Management, reporting to the Strategy & Innovation Division Chief. Serves as project manager responsible for the management of various project types to include implementing business systems, organizational transformation initiatives, and business transformation for Nonappropriated Fund activities. Project management responsibilities include: initiation. planning, direction, coordination, implementation. execution, monitoring. controlling. and closing the project - on time, within budget and scope. Ensures alignment with organizational strategy. commitments and goals. Assists in defining the project scope, requirements and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, when applicable. Works directly with project owners and/or leads to ensure on time deliverables that fall within the applicable scope and budget. Develops and maintains comprehensive project plan to share with stakeholders and used to oversee all aspects of projects in order to monitor nod track progress. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress through completion. Accomplishes annual budget reviews, requests additional funds (when necessary), and completes receiving of invoices as deliverables are met by contractors. Manages changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate techniques. Coordinates with AFNAFPO for modifications of Statements of Work and/or contracts. if applicable. Closely coordinates and controls project change requests with functional users. Effectively communicates project progress to team members, sponsors and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Manages the relationship with and between all stakeholders. Accountable and responsible for precisely communicating risks, issues, or opportunities that cannot be resolved or acted upon at a project level. Prepares reports and briefings for upper management regarding status of project and escalates issues as needed. Interacts, collaborates and coordinates with the project sponsor. project team. other departments. and third parties/vendors during execution to ensure adherence to project goals and alignment with business needs during each phase of the project. A wide degree of creativity and autonomy is expected. Uses and continually develops leadership skills via online or in residence courses. Attends conferences and training as required to maintain professional proficiency. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. • Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the 618 Air and Operations Center's International Flight Plans and Airspace Branch (XOCZF).
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Represents HQ Air Mobility Command, 18th Air Force, 618 Air and Space Operations Center Command and Control Directorate, International Flight Plans and Airspace Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Communicates face to face, verbally, and/or in writing with worldwide SES or higher level Air Traffic Control (ATC) agencies, various MAJCOM agencies, and other key personnel within AMC's area of responsibility in order to secure preferred routing for AMC aircraft.
• Serve as Air Mobility Command Focal Point for the Flight Plan and Airspace Function.

As a Loan Specialist (General) at the GS-1165-9, some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Investigates and evaluates credit history to determine credit worthiness of applicant business, related affiliates, and principal owners of applying applicant business.
• Processes business loans, more complex residential loans, and all types of business and economic injury loans.
• Uses creativity and judgment to reach sound credit recommendations that assist disaster victims while protecting the interests of the government.
• Evaluates collateral by considering type of collateral property, lien position, and available equity.
• Notifies applicant in writing of the information necessary to proceed with processing loan requests.

• This is a Term appointment, which is a Competitive service position.
• Mandatory Overtime: In order to respond quickly and efficiently to disaster survivors, substantial compensated overtime hours may be required heighten Disaster Activities.

You will be given an initial Term Appointment lasting more than 1 year, but not more than 4 years. If all other conditions of employment are met, this appointment may be extended, up to a total of four (4) years in increments determined by SBA.
• If selected, employees work on an intermittent (on-call) work schedule. This means that employees are in a pay status only when activated to respond to workload needs, especially in response to heightened disaster activity. When no longer needed, employees return to a non-pay status until the next event necessitates additional staff.
• However, depending on the workload and/or level of disaster activity, your work schedule may be changed to full-time. Subsequently, if the workload decreases, your work schedule may be changed back to intermittent.
• This is not a bargaining unit position.
