The Role

Be Well Tameside has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Business Support Officer as part of a wider Public Health team.
As a Business Support Officer you will be integral to the efficient running of the Be Well Service and to the wider public health team. The job will be varied and will include dealing with enquiries from the public, processing referrals, booking appointments and updating the IT systems, supporting project work being undertaken by the public health programme officers and assisting with the preparation for meeting and events including arranging rooms bookings, preparing resources and taking meeting notes.
About You
Here are some of the skills, knowledge and abilities that we are looking for in our Assistant Business Support Officers:
- Experience of working with members of the public.
- You need to have excellent communication skills, be reliable, have good time management, and take a flexible approach to work.
- You must enjoy being part of a team; yet possess the personal management skills to work unsupervised.
- You need to have good keyboard skills and the ability to use computers to maintain records and enter data on our web-based client management systems.
- You will need to be highly organised, motivated and resilient.
