About the roleYork College and City of York Local Authority are launching our first DFN Project SEARCH Supported Internship programme, in partnership with AVIVA.This is a one-year transition to employment internship programme for young people with learning disabilities, difficulties and/or autism.
The student Interns will be based at AVIVA in York, supported by a team that includes a tutor coordinator, job coach and workplace managers, with the aim of obtaining employment at the end of the year.
We are looking to recruit a Tutor/Coordinator for this new programme.
As tutor you will lead on the delivery of an employability curriculum, identifying each student Interns’ strengths, interests, and abilities related to skill acquisition, job development and employment.
The tutor/coordinator will provide support and guidance to student interns, their business co-workers and families, to ensure the interns’ success during their work placements and to seek out job opportunities both within and outside the host employer so interns make a successful transition into paid employment.
About the PersonThe successful candidate should have knowledge and understanding of autism and learning disabilities and previous experience of supporting young people or adults with autism and/or learning disabilities. We are particularly interested in people with Training in Systematic Instruction and job coaching experience or knowledge of the supported employment model however this is not essential if you have the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn as we provide a wealth of training and personal development opportunities.

This position is responsible for overseeing the system and design solutions of Ariba, along with its integration into SAP S/4 HANA. As system solution owner, the role is crucial to help the organization’s operational efficiency and effectiveness, in addition to supporting the implementation of Ariba enhancements and change requests. The role requires a strong understanding of both business process flow and in-depth technical domain knowledge. Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide core system administration and technical assistance for Ariba on-demand systems including Procure-to-Pay, Source to Contract and Supplier Management, along with their integration into the SAP ERP System

• Responsible for the configuration of approval workflow, maintenance of approval rule files, mapping between Ariba objects and SAP ERP (S/4 Hana) through SAP CIG integration and logging and monitoring of any defects

Position Summary

For over 30 years PRO-DAIRY has linked New York’s dairy farmers and agribusiness professionals to critical research and resources, giving them the information they need to build and manage robust businesses. PRO-DAIRY’s contributions to educational programming and applied research have helped New York farmers continue to lead in milk production and remain among the top dairy states. According to national agriculture statistics, New York has been a national leader in dairy growth for the past 10 years. Through its research, discussion groups, educational programs, financial analysis, websites, publications and personal contacts, the Cornell University based program reaches thousands of dairy professionals annually.

This position will provide direct operational leadership and support for the Dairy Profit Monitor (DPM) Program, involving monthly analysis for dairy farms and the continued development and use of educational materials in support of the program. Also provide administrative support for the Dairy Farm Business Summary, the longest on-going applied research project within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Serve as a liaison between and provide coordination among Dairy Management faculty, PRO-DAIRY staff, and industry professionals on developing and carrying out the programs designed to support the DPM Program. Work with PRO-DAIRY Farm Management staff in coordinating the discussion group program, utilizing the Dairy Farm Business Summary, Activity Analysis Projects, and other tools used within the groups. This support requires the incumbent to work directly with dairy producers throughout the state and their advisors. Collaboration in development and delivery of educational programs will be required with other members of the PRO-DAIRY statewide and area teams and faculty related to farm management and dairy production.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and will be located in Ithaca, New York.

Extensive travel (approximately 20-40% of time depending on time of year) will be required throughout New York State with overnight stays.

This is a one-year appointment with possible extension depending on funding and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in dairy management or business with an agricultural background and 2+ years of experience in dairy management, farm business management or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in use of computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and farm financial analysis software.

Job Description

The Senior Engineer manages work in engineering areas of specialization, with minimal supervision. You will be part of CIBC Financial Planning and Advice team, which offers comprehensive financial planning and specialized wealth planning strategies to CIBC’s high net worth clients, including estate planning, business transition planning, tax minimization strategies, protection planning and philanthropy. As a CIBC Financial Planning Consultant, you will be accountable for providing expert financial planning counsel that specializes in wealth management solutions working in partnership with CIBC branch based advisors. • Works collaboratively and effectively with internal partners to leverage sales and referral opportunities to improve share of wallet, acquire new customers, retain existing customers and provide the full financial service offering to customers.
• Ensures effective control, monitoring and reporting procedures are in place to ensure in compliance with internal and external requirement.
• Manages risk and minimize losses through audit, monitoring and controls reports and functions, ensuring compliance requirements, audits and verifications are completed in accordance with Bank Policies and Procedures and regulatory, legal and ethical requirements.
• Monitors controllable non-interest expenses and revenues of the team’s profitability to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Monitor and escalate aspects not under direct managerial control.
• Qualifications:
• Post secondary education
• 5+ years experience in sales and a demonstrated history of successful business development activities including ability to network in external markets
• Experience managing a large direct sales team
