The Role

As a Project Co-ordinator, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day delivery of water contracts.

Supported by our Project Manager and Project Assistant, you will co-ordinate site resources and liaise with clients to provide reports and resolve any issues.

Contributing to the effective delivery of successful projects, you will complete timesheets, manage complaints and escalations, provide reports, and support site managers.

This is a new role within the organisation and will be working alongside the wider financial reporting team and Property leadership team to review and challenge financial and performance information within the Property business area.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Finance Business Partner will include:

• Partner with the Property leadership, including senior managers, to ensure the financial information provided is relevant and enables the business to make informed strategic decisions and to deliver the performance targets across the multiple business areas within the Property Development, Regeneration and Disposals areas, including the development joint venture operations

• Use financial information to inform business decisions and financial analysis of development, regeneration schemes and asset disposal seeking EMT / Board approval, including robust analysis of proposed scheme appraisals prepared by the Property team, reviewing options appraisals, and providing appropriate narrative to be included in EMT / Board reports and outturn reviews

• Financial review of Joint Venture partnerships including financial evaluation of proposed business plans when considering such investments, and ongoing understanding of financial impact of forecast outturn vs. approved business plan. Preparing reports to EMT / Committee / Board explaining financial implications of JV performance, and when required, seeking approval for officers to execute ad hoc finance related actions within jointly controlled investments

• Evaluate financial models supporting Board decisions, and recommend improvements

• Promote and embed a value for money culture across the business by systematically benchmarking across the best in class within and outside sector

• Play the role of independent, critical friend to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting of performance, ensuring consistent and justifiable assumptions as a result of strong business partnering relationships and supportive challenge

• Demonstrable finance experience within a multi-company environment carrying out extensive business partnering with senior management

• Comfortable analysing and assessing data to draw insights, assess performance and identity required interventions

• Understands how Finance strategies and interventions support overall Business Strategies and Goals and able to drive effective financial performance through brokering the services of the wider Finance team where necessary

• Significant experience of service delivery to non-finance personnel at a senior level

• Work closely with data and BI teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.
• Collaborate in the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Participate in data modelling, KPI design, and metrics standardization across projects to ensure consistency in BI/MI outputs.
• Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors, facilitating seamless communication and understanding of project goals.
• Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, using data visualization tools to highlight key metrics and trends.
• Work with data governance teams to define and maintain data standards and ensure adherence to data quality policies.

Key Experience Required:

• Experience as a Business Analyst, specifically on BI and MI projects.
• Demonstrated experience with BI tools.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization, KPI development, and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and experience in working with relational databases.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a non-technical audience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Your new role,

A Senior Regulatory Business Change Analyst is required to join the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the build-out of their ESG offering and keep pace with the challenges of regulatory change. ESG is a constantly evolving space, with regulators working to build transparency, combat greenwashing and support the financial sector in its net-zero transition. The role holder will be required to help to assess the implications of ESG regulations, consider how to incorporate these into key products and ensure disclosure of these activities in reporting deliverables. Ultimately, this role will fulfil the mandate to effectively implement ESG regulatory change across our European business.

The Regulatory Business Change Analyst will be required to lead ESG change workstreams, ensuring successful analysis of ESG regulations to understand the key implications and plan, schedule, co-ordinate and manage activities required to deliver the project. They will collaborate closely with ESG representatives across the group to understand where change is required to meet the European regulatory requirements. The roleholder will be required to produce detailed documentation to record requirements and prepare executive level communications to summarise the high level impact.

There will also be the need to lead workshops to design implementation solutions, whilst also coaching and supporting junior members regarding best practice of business analysis and project management. Develop, manage and execute project plans (working closely with Programme Managers) and define the roles and responsibilities of ESG stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience gained in a similar role, with a good knowledge and understanding of ESG - specifically experience of leading regulatory analysis and project management.
• Experience gained in a Business Analysis capacity - Project Management skills would be highly desirable.
• Ability to think critically and strategically, able to navigate ambiguity and identify interdependencies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to independently identify and influence relevant stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the asset management industry is highly desirable.
• Ambitious and eager to build a career in the ESG space.
