If so please read on as we may have the role for you. As a Project Worker you will be working for an established provider of housing support and resettlement within a service for young people aged 16-24.
The role:
- Permanent over 37.5 hours per week working on a rota basis including early, late and weekend shifts
- Act as a Key worker to a case load of young people working in line with their support plans to help them engage in and promote their independent living skills
- Offer support, guidance which will help them access education, employment and other services.
- Work proactively to engage them in activities, facilitating group and 1-1 sessions.
The ideal candidate:
- You will be passionate about wanting to support young people and have the flexibility to commit to shifts on a rota basis.
- Your energy, creativity and positive 'can do' attitude will be key, as will your ability to work confidently with the young people to help them create their own confidence.
- You will have experience of working with young people and with those with a mental health issue, or learning disability and autism and have an understanding of those who may have experienced trauma.
- This role is ideal for those who want to be part of a great team and share your skills and knowledge.
