A full time grade E post is available from immediately on a fixed-term or secondment basis until 9 September 2024.
The starting salary will be from £32,332 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, some time on Streatham campus and some from home.
Requests for flexible working, compressed hours and reduced hours (to a minimum of 0.8 FTE) will be considered.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join our Student Information Systems Optimisation Project in the Strategic Delivery Unit. This individual will particularly support the Education Excellence Enhancements workstream working with teams across Education and Admissions functions at the University.
This exciting role will involve a wide range of activities aligned to business analysis functions such as mapping existing processes, liaising with project stakeholders and also organising, managing and facilitating LEAN improvement events, using process improvement methodology and project co-ordination skills.
You will be expected to work on the Streatham Campus as required to facilitate face to face events and team sessions/meetings. The current expectation is two days per week minimum, but flexibility will be required. Some funded travel to St Luke’s Campus and Penryn Campus will also be required.
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, IT and communication skills, as well as someone who is capable of analysing complex data to produce evidence-based recommendations. You will have experience of working collaboratively and proactively in a team to deliver multiple objectives.
You will play a lead role in researching, preparing, facilitating and analysing data for stakeholder improvement events and managing the completion of actions and next steps thereafter. You must be able to demonstrate and understanding and enthusiasm for process and system improvement.
The role requires a flexible individual with strong relevant administrative experience, who is able to demonstrate creative problem solving skills, exceptional customer service skills and a professional attitude.
