Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiasm and driven candidates to fill our opening for Senior Business Development Manager based in Singapore. You will be responsible for expanding the business by identifying growth opportunities, building relationships, and helping align HORIBA products with market needs. Develop strategies to establish a sustainable business for HORIBA.
Responsibilities:
1. Market Research: Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitors to find opportunities for growth of HORIBA Products.
2. Sales Growth: Develop strategies to attract new customers, work with the sales team to close deals, and meet revenue targets.
3. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, especially in industries such as hydrogen, semiconductors, and oil & gas. Building relationships with potential clients. Create and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to specific clients
4. Product Collaboration: Share customer and market insights with product teams to help improve and develop the product. Participate in product roadmap discussions to ensure alignment with market demands and business goals.
5. Networking and Brand Building: Represent the company at events and build the brand’s reputation. Network with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers to build long-term relationships and raise brand awareness.
6. Reporting and Tracking: Monitor performance and report on progress towards business goals
7. Financial Planning and Forecasting: Set realistic revenue projections, create budgets, and manage expenses related to business development activities. Prepare reports and forecasts on market performance, new opportunities, and ongoing business development projects.
Requirements:
Ø Degree in Engineering or Science (some basic background in Environmental & Chemistry is important)
Ø More than 10yrs of regional sales and business development manager experience.
Ø Broad experience and expertise of industrial process and environment market and sales.
Ø Strong understanding of the HORIBA product’s market, including trends, competitors, and customer pain points.
Ø Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
Ø Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and present actionable insights.
Ø Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, especially in product and marketing.
