We are recruiting a permanent Senior Business Analyst to sit within the Strategy, Projects and Performance team. This role will work on corporate projects with a wide range of stakeholders including Property, Development, Technical and Customer Services teams. The Senior Business Analyst role will deliver and support their team to deliver analysis work for highly complex and high-profile projects, supporting large strategic change at MTVH.

A key focus for the role will be to lead the MTVH Business Analyst framework. This is the framework that guides and governs how Business Analysts work at MTVH including templates, documents, process, tools and techniques. It also has the responsibility for creating and maintaining a Business Analyst community pulling together Business Analysts from all across MTVH.

This role has direct line management of the team of Business Analysts within the Projects and Planning team and will support the corporate planning function in resource planning and the creation of Business Analyst work packages.

What you'll need to succeed

Expert knowledge and understanding of business analysis tools and techniques. An ability to clearly document business requirements and processes. You will need to be able to analyse data and requirements to provide insight and recommendations.

Proven experience in large and complex organisational wide change projects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster good working relationships with a wider range of stakeholders as this role works cross functionally. You will have experience of dealing with senior stakeholders and Executive Sponsors.

You will have experience with building and developing a business analysis framework. This includes templates, documents, processes and a Business Analyst community. Proven experience as a line manager, being a mentor and role model for team members.

You will need to either have direct or relatable business experience and an affinity to the work of social housing.

This role

We are recruiting a 6-month fixed term contract Business Analyst to sit within the Corporate Services Directorate in the Strategy, Projects and Performance team. This role will be focused on supporting delivery of the Procurement Act projects. It will work with a wide range of stakeholders in our Procurement, Finance and Technical teams.

The Procurement Act will come into force on 24 February 2025. The Procurement Act aims to improve the way public procurement is regulated in order to be simpler, more flexible and embed increased transparency. There are three areas of focus for MTVH:

• Governance, compliance and reporting
• Processes and policy
• Stakeholder and supply chain engagement

The business analyst role is pivotal in supporting these priorities by capturing requirements, producing business processes and data flows. You will need to create priority areas to address the most impacted areas first, work with Technology to understand any dependencies on what needs to be communicated and understand different business areas and their needs.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Receiving a detailed customer project brief from the Account Manager ensuring all requirements and customer assumptions are understood and agreed such that these can be easily transferred to all relevant functions across our business. To capture feedback from internal stakeholders and communicate findings to the Account Manager in order for the negotiating stage to commence.
You will take guidance from the Account Manager to effectively liaise with multiple customers for business enquiries which you will do through effective project planning and by working closely with internal stakeholders within our R&D and production functions.
To undertake a thorough evaluation during the business winning phase of multiple projects including: financial aspects, risks, overall project plan and product options. You will take accountability for the “workbook costing” completion and the overall accountability for the delivery of these projects into the industrialisation phase.
Accurate and efficient completion of the stage gate process, tracker and documentation to ensure project status and business reporting can be undertaken.
To be the interface between our customers’ and Fareva and effectively and professionally manage the relationship. To provide project status reports for internal and external requirements though the business wining and industrialisation phases.
To strive for perfection and ensure that our customer experience is the best in class, driving continuous improvement activities through an approved change control process in a timely and effective manner.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Ideally you will have a business degree or equivalent which will be supported by a recognised project management qualification such as Prince 2 Practitioner or PMI. You will also have demonstrable experience of project management within Retail, FMCG, Cosmetic or a Healthcare environment.
You will be customer focused with the ability to manage customer relationships and maintain professionalism through the challenging and difficult times as well as celebrating success. You will be a strong team player with the ability to work as part of a team or individually with the ambition to achieving high results and successfully transitioning projects to into industrialisation.
You will be a strong and influential project manager with enthusiasm and energy to develop and drive the performance of the project team to be the ‘best in class’. This role:

The successful candidate can be located in Farringdon, London or Beeston, Nottinghamshire.

• Working directly for the Head and Safety Manager, you will support and drive health and safety management arrangements and requirements within the Property Services Directorate of the business.
