• The incumbent coordinates SNPLMA-funded projects for the Federal, state, and local government agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
• Provides independent leadership, direction, advice, assistance, and guidance as necessary to complete projects in accordance with the SNPLMA Implementation Agreement and Appropriation Law principles.
• Coordinates and provides project nomination preparation assistance and guidance.

• Is responsible for coordinating changes in the project scope, time, and/or amount through the preparation and decision of issue-specific decision memoranda.

As a Senior Advisor for Business Operations, your typical work assignments may include:

• Providing expert advice, consultation, and assistance to the Administrator on high priority agency-wide policy matters relating to business operations in the areas of budget, contracts, facilities, resource management/appropriations, human resources, congress, public affairs, and information technology.
• Assessing the effectiveness of program and policy oversight, taking corrective action ensuring consistency with the DEA's goals, objectives and policies.
• Evaluating current policies and programs, recommending appropriate actions, and providing continuous review, updates, and analysis of policies, and standard operating procedures related to the business operations of DEA.
• Synthesize a large amount of data and information to effectively present this information to the Administrator for review.
