Principal Accountabilities:-
1. Liaise with intermediaries/clients on enquiries, renewals, endorsements, etc;
2. To analyze the premium income for each month with reasons for increase/decrease of premiums for department reporting;
3. To undertake risk surveys, if required;
4. To quote in accordance with the Company's underwriting guidelines;
5. To assist accounts department in premium collection including fronting policies;
6. To enhance the service quality of the Japanese Business;
7. To establish customer benefit services with vendors;
8. Provide customer service to Japanese clients on their inquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters;
9. Plan and organize visitations to clients (new business/renewal/claims happenings).
10. Develop good relationship with clients to maintain and enhance existing clients’ business.
11. Plan renewal strategies for Japanese corporate clients.
12. Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums;
13. Maintain clients’ details and information;
14. Other duties that are assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:-
1. Diploma/Degree holder or ACII/AAII qualifications and equivalent preferred;
2. At least with CGI/HI or relevant insurance qualification;
3. Preferably with at least 1/2 years of experience in General Insurance industry;
4. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
5. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;
6. Organized and has the ability to work under pressure;
7. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers;
8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
