We have an excellent reputation of successfully delivering projects in a range of settings, including countries across Europe and beyond. You will need to be excited about travel and enriching the student and staff experience through educational and cultural activities.

You will be confident in all forms of communication, proficient in the use of M365 software and able to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally to represent BTC. You will assist in organising College and student events linked to project activity and be proactive in your approach to all tasks.

Job description
Bridgwater & Taunton College is looking for an experienced individual to act as a Project Manager for the Somerset partners of the Local Skills Improvement Fund.

Reporting directly to the Executive Project Lead, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning and designating resources across various project elements, preparing and adhering to budgets and monitoring progress. Working closely with project leads across Somerset's three partner colleges and the Dorset and Somerset Training Provider Network, the post-holder will establish effective relationships to ensure all deliverables are achieved within the established timescales, and that all Department of Education reporting and monitoring requirements are met.

Strong IT skills and an in-depth knowledge of the skills needs within the Heart of the South West, as well as the regional Local Skills Improvement Plan.

The projects will span two financial years with the Project Manager in post from December 2023 - July 2024 to meet set short-term outcomes, laying the groundwork for long-term, positive outcomes for the region.

The successful candidate will be confident in all forms of communication, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and able to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally to represent the project.

The projects will span two financial years with the Project Co-Ordinator in post from November 2023 - July 2024 to meet set short-term outcomes, laying the groundwork for long-term, positive outcomes for the region.
