What will you be doing?

• The Senior Security Analyst will work with Security Architects to take on delegated complex tasks, drive projects and proactively monitor work loads.

What will you be doing?



The Capture and Proposition Manager is responsible for setting the bid (capture) strategy, developing winning strategies, and delivering compelling proposals. South Staffordshire College is looking to recruit an additional role to its Estates Team, with the creation of a Security and Student Liaison Officer at the College's Lichfield site. The postholder will also assist the sites team with minor repairs during the holiday periods.

• Ensure all reported near misses are recorded following procedure and submitted to the Office Manager each week
• Ensure all Safety and Environmental Statistics are recorded and sent to management monthly
• Ensure current revisions of drawings are the ones being used on the site
• Upload relevant site information onto Envoy, ensuring it is up to date
• Deliver toolbox talks and present Cascade to site operatives, ensuring Cascade registers are completed and returned
• Maintain a site diary, site correspondence file and photographic record of the project
• Produce and display a roles and responsibilities chart, establishing the responsibility for each role on site

Monitor plant and equipment

• Produce a site register to record all items to be inspected under LOLER and PUWER Regulations, and ensure they are regularly checked
• Record the condition of the plant arriving on-site on a form with photographs
• Check the weekly plant sheet against the actual plant on-site and ensure any anomalies are resolved through communication with the Cost Manager

Technical Support

• Provide support with technical information/advice
• Propose and/or develop value engineered solutions (during optioneering and design phases)
• Produce ITPs and Task Briefings
• Work with the Site Agent to produce a 2-week look ahead report
• Assist with the production of Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets

Key Measures & Targets:

• Accurate and timely setting out of the works
• Timely handover of works and Quality records without outstanding defects
• Production of accurate records, drawing registers and weekly diaries

Person Specification:

The successful candidate is likely to meet all the following criteria:

Essential

• Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
• Awareness of the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments
• Degree/HNC qualified, or equivalent, in civil engineering
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both clients and staff

Desirable

• Experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office
• Temporary-works co-ordination
• CSCS card
• Cable avoidance training
• First aid training
• Confined space training

What you'll be doing;



The purpose of the Risk & Assurance Manager (Physical Security) is to actively manage and support the business with all aspects of physical security. They will ensure that all corporate and operational sites have sufficient support with physical security.


Some of the key responsibilities are:

• Influence and engage with a wide range of senior leaders
  
• Lead and conduct physical security Incident reviews.
  
• Manage the physical security suppliers within the approved framework and in line with Veolia's Minimum Requirements.
  
• Escalate where significant risk or event has occurred - to the operational teams, Risk and assurance department and Senior Leaders
  
• Develop security knowledge for the wider team - upskilling wider R&A department and operational managers around physical security
  
• Responsible for coaching, training and supervising colleagues around framework for suppliers and influence around guidance/advice implementing physical security.
  
• Responsible for helping sites solve security problems - recommending work and improvements.
  
• Communication - putting together security alerts, communicating between stakeholders and sites.. Escalating and communicating updates to the General Manager level.
  
• Perform security vulnerability, risk assessments and Lead physical security incident investigations
  
• Provide physical security service, solutions, programs, standard methodologies and technical mentorship to the business
  
• Collect, measure and analyse regional and site physical security metrics to discover trends for continuous quality improvement or corrective measures
  
• Work with business development teams on new tenders, ensuring that the security element is both attractive and 'comes to life' for prospective clients.
  
• Responsible for physical security within bid submissions
  
• Working with MOD security clearances and approvals
  

What we're looking for:

• 8 + years Experience of physical security in industry
  
• Working knowledge of current industry trends and developments pertaining to security operations such as physical access controls, CCTV, and incident response.
  
• Expert knowledge and experience in Physical Security best practices (technical knowledge and demonstrated technical expertise)
  
• Experience of implementing successful change programmes
  
• Appreciation of all aspects of R&A including H&S, Environment and Risk
  
• Advanced knowledge of CCTV, access control systems and process, guard force management, reporting security metrics, security audits and incident reporting
