Team Leadership Duties: Provide leadership, direction, and support to both the workflow administration and secretarial teams, ensuring a cohesive working environment. Oversee the workflow administrative team ensuring accurate and timely scanning of all incoming correspondence into patient records. Lead and support the secretarial team responsible for patient referrals, ensuring referrals are completed accurately and promptly. Oversee the processing and tracking of patient referrals, including managing referral databases and systems. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes for patient record management, workflow administration, and referral handling. Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and doctors to verify and maintain the accuracy of patient information in medical records. Ensure adherence to the Data Protection Act and Caldicott guidelines, safeguarding the security and confidentiality of patient information. Ensure that all team members are trained on relevant systems, including Docman and other referral and document management platforms. Monitor the teams performance, providing guidance, feedback, and training as needed. Manage the communication of any urgent issues or problems to the practice management team. Attend and minute operational and clinical meetings. Lead on ensuring policies and procedures relating to scope of remit are updated and reviewed at least annually. Safeguarding Admin Duties: Act as the administrative lead for safeguarding within the practice, ensuring that all safeguarding documentation is managed accurately and securely. Maintain up-to-date safeguarding records, ensuring that all patient safeguarding concerns are logged and monitored in compliance with safeguarding protocols. Work closely with the Safeguarding Lead (clinical staff) to coordinate safeguarding meetings, case reviews, and follow-up actions. Ensure timely and accurate communication between the safeguarding team, external agencies, and the practice. Keep the safeguarding team informed of any changes in safeguarding policies, guidelines, or procedures. Ensure safeguarding processes are in line with national and local safeguarding policies and frameworks, supporting the ongoing development of best practices. Patient Group/Patient Event Management: Assist the Practice Manager with the management and coordination of the patient group, facilitating regular meetings and ensuring open lines of communication between the practice and the group. Gather and analyse feedback from the patient group, addressing concerns, suggestions, and identifying areas for improvement. Promote patient engagement initiatives to foster stronger relationships between the practice and its patients. Manage social media and practice website to foster and build relations with our patient group promoting the practice in a positive light. Work with the management team to incorporate patient group feedback into practice improvements and service developments.

ICTS are looking for reliable and technology savvy Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people amongst the sites of our new Data Centre client in the Hemel Hempstead area.

You'll be required to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern working 12-hour shifts, encompassing both days and nights.

An experienced Security Officer, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

- Managing access control for buildings and car-parks - for employees, visitors, and contractors.

- Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems.

- Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.

- De-activating and activating alarms, and unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to ensure that no unauthorised personnel or hazards are on site.

- Fire, security and building systems monitoring, including CCTV.

- Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.

- Responding to customer requests and queries

- Maintaining records including incident reports using computer- and paper-based systems

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security

- Five years' checkable history and references

- To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

The following would also be useful, but are not essential:

- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) licence

- First Aid qualification

Working as part of a team in a modern, fast-paced environment, you will carry out a range of duties including:

- Escalate incidents to ICTS management

- Ensure standing orders as well as Risk Assessments are read, understood, and signed.

- Recommend to Contract Manager any changes needed to standing orders.

- Ensure all security documentation is filled in correctly.

- Ensure Contract Manager is briefed on site activities daily.

- Ensure all security areas are kept clean and tidy.

- Report loss/damage of security equipment

- Able to coach, train and mentor a new team member. Be able to delegate to and empower the team into achieving desired results.

- Able to maintain confidentiality, stay professional and avoid favouritism within the team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Extensive Cybersecurity experience across multiple domains (e.g. assets, networks, identity, operations, risk, and development) in large and complex organisations

Experience of implementing security standards across an organisation

Experience developing and delivering a wide range of training materials and sessions, from bitesize to workshops to comprehensive training programmes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate audiences of varying technical backgrounds.

Educated in the field of IT Security (E.g. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security or similar)

Previous experience as a security analyst, engineer or leader, demonstrating first person experience and ‘deep insight’
