As a Security Engineer, you will work on a 5 year upgrade project for a blue chip client, providing effective installation and commissioning of various security systems such as:

- Intruder Alarm Systems

- Access Control

- CCTV IP & Analogue

- Intercom

- Remote Signalling Systems such as Dualcom

The right candidate will receive training to cover any areas where experience may be lacking.

Requirements:

- Previously worked as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.

- Proven technical background in security systems.

- Understanding of Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems and Remote Signalling systems such as Dualcom.

- Knowledge of British Standards for security systems (PD662, BS8243, BSEN50132).

- Understanding of DVRs and their capabilities.

- Able to be security checked in accordance with BS7858:2019.

- Capable to work at height and in confined spaces.

- Manual handling skills.

- Experience with Lenel Access Control would be desirable.

- Knowledge of the 18th edition of IEE wiring regulations would be beneficial.

- Valid UK driving License.

- Travel nationally and stay overnight when necessary.

About The Role
Working as part of a team, you'll provide assistance and support to residents at a National Probation Service Approved Premises (AP) including security, welfare and monitoring services. Job Purpose To act as specialist and Trust lead for the management of Claims and Redress for compensation made against the organisation and facilitate the provision of expert legal advice to frontline staff, managers and the Board in relation to Trust clinical or business activities (excluding corporate legalities).
