The difference you will make as a Night Concierge and Security Assistant

You will act as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in a reception area as required and use company intranet (RIC), e-mail and other basic correspondence where appropriate and necessary. Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme and respond to faults as discovered.

You will also monitor access to schemes and visitors and meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices, reporting incidents and anti-social behaviour.

A Legal Assistant is needed for a 3 - 6 month period to assist the Legal Children's Social Care team review all open files in respect of redacation of third party data and to ensure that casework files are updated with email correspondence.

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Attend Courts supporting Counsel and assist with documentation, ensure witness attendance and assist with statement clarification, take accurate notes for evidence and judgement for the file and reference for counsel.
• Check fee earners’ post and deal where possible with queries etc. bringing to the fee earners attention if any immediate action is required.
• Maintain records obtaining the required information from court orders, the court, counsel or other professionals.
• Organise witness and expert attendance to court or other meetings.

Are you an experienced Personal Assistant / Legal Secretary seeking a new permanent job? Would you like a role offering hybrid working? Is central Huddersfield, West Yorkshire convenient for you? If so, this could be just the job for you!

Your duties as Personal Assistant / Legal Secretary will include:

• Handling client telephone calls, enquiries and requests by taking messages, making appointments or assisting clients where possible
• Working closely with Commercial Property Fee Earner to organise digital and physical files, original documents and keeping track of important key dates on matters
• Working with Fee Earners in general conduct of cases, including filing, typing from digital dictation, photocopying when required
• Dealing with incoming emails and post and organising the same or replying as appropriate
• Drafting and filing SDLT returns online and as directed
• To ensure that post-completion duties (ie; Companies House registrations, SDLT submissions, ordering indemnity Policies where applicable etc) are undertaken
• Undertaking exchanges and completions
• Ensuring confidentiality of the company and client documentation and information
• Supporting other secretaries as required

You will have:

• Previous PA experience in Residential or Commercial Property
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise your own workload
• Good word processing skills
