Job Description:
The Corporate Security Coordinator (CSC) will assist our Corporate Security Partners (CSPs) at the campuses or remotely. The CSC is expected to be available outside of scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays, based on emergencies or uncommon incidents.
Responsibilities:
The CSC works in conjunction with the CSP/CSM to facilitate a safe and secure environment
employees and visitors.
Typical roles and responsibilities of the CSC:
• Support campus operations
• Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) on assigned projects/tasks
• Work with the security team to develop and update Post Orders (POs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct site-related investigations including video review
• Work in partnership with Facilities, GSOC, as well as other Global Security members
i. Demonstrate the professionalism and capability to represent the CSP at high level
meetings and undertake initiatives, acting as the DRI on their behalf when requested
ii Manage threat intelligence and analysis activities including required escalations to
management and crisis management teams
Iii Meet regularly with Facilities personnel as well as Business Unit (BU) Leadership.
Building working relationships with both these entities is important to ensure open lines of
communication in order to ensure safety and security concerns are addressed.
• Proactively forecast and communicate potential issues and concerns:
i. Understanding the short-term and long-term impact of modifying security personnel and/or
security devices
ii. Impact of unexpected hazards or disasters (natural or human-made)
iii Tracking of schedules related to:
- Building Construction
- Building maintenance
- Work/Time off
iv. Ensure the accurate and timely recommendations of business and security related risks or
actions with a focus on details
• Provide support in the following areas:
- Deployment
- Events
- SOR Audits
• Any other duties as assigned
Additional Note:
Based on location, the CSC may work with a deployment team staffed by a vendor that is different than the CSC’s employer. Given this, the CSC should not provide direction directly to the deployment team. Only the CSP/CSM will provide direction. Vendors do not manage other vendors.
CSCs can and should communicate with the security team to provide guidance within the rules, regulations, and SOPs that are already in place as well as maintaining an open line of communication with the security deployment.
