Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of corporate secretarial professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee the delivery of corporate secretarial services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA regulations, and other relevant statutory requirements.
• Provide expert advice to clients on corporate governance, regulatory changes, and best practices.
• Prepare and review statutory documents, resolutions, and minutes for board and shareholder meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for corporate secretarial matters.
• Understand clients' business needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
• Plan and manage multiple projects and assignments, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with other departments and service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
• Liaise with statutory bodies, banks and other third-party business partners as and when required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Chartered Secretary qualification (e.g., ICSA) or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant working experience, , with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA regulations, and corporate governance principles.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
• Preferably a qualified chartered secretary (ICSA)
