About this opportunity
Are you experienced with Microsoft's Power Platform tools? Do you pride yourself on writing efficient code and solving complex problems? Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is seeking a motivated individual who thrives on developing sophisticated models and innovating processes.
You'll be working with and supporting others in the team to deliver new and enhanced functionality associated with financial models and processes. You'll get involved at all stages of the change cycle - from initial design thinking, through build and test to ultimate delivery. We're also developing new tools and processes to increase agility and provide valuable business insight.
Day to day you'll be;
- Using Power apps to create, automate and enhance processes and analyses
- Creating and enhancing R-based applications and tools for financial modelling and analysis
- Performing thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance of developed applications
- Conducting code reviews and providing critical feedback for developments completed by other members of the team
- Playing a part in the continuous improvement of our development practices.

What you'll need
- Proficient with programming in R, especially with optimising code to improve model efficiency.
- Experienced with Microsoft Power Platform products, Excel and RStudio
- Use of object-oriented programming and an understanding of its principles.
- Knowledgeable of Cloud Computing such as Google Cloud.
- Experienced with Excel, RStudio and Microsoft Power Platform products.
- Experience of using Git for version control.
- Confident and proactive when communicating with others.
