Salary: £39,415 - £45,136 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Improved visibility of our Low Voltage network is vital to help achieve our Net Zero and Regulatory obligations. This position, within our DSO Smart Energy Systems team, will support our Low Voltage (LV) monitoring rollout programme to ensure we are meeting our commitments to install and maintain 20,000 LV monitors and make use of the data to further improve our overall network performance and visibility of power flows. This role will coordinate network visibility initiatives that support and improve the access and understanding of network data across our business teams, whilst also making this data available on our open data portal for our stakeholders.
You will report to and support the Metering Systems Lead who is responsible for all points of supply (in and out) of the SEPD and SHEPD distributions network, for both system connection points i.e. Grid Supply Points (GSPs) and customer connections. Supporting the services necessary to install and maintain a safe and compliant operation of the network, whilst ensuring SSENs Registrant duties are performed effectively.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Support the Low Voltage monitoring rollout, implementation and day to day activities.
- Help ensure the benefits and use cases from LV monitoring data are being delivered by our business teams.
- Support the Metering System Lead to manage our Central Volume Allocation metering obligations under the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC).
- Coordinate Service Termination SLA performance, supplier and meter operator bilaterals.
- Coordinate SSENs Registrant duties.
- Support at industry forums, committees and working groups.
