CACI's Mastodon Design team is looking for a full time Hardware Engineering Manager to join our team. You will lead a team of electrical engineers supporting the design, integration, test, and evaluation of RF systems with a focus on signal exploitation, communications devices, and radio systems. This position reports directly into senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and professional development support to team of engineers
- Manage hardware design and release schedules across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones, risks, and issues are tracked and actioned
- Ensure engineering projects are properly resourced with the right staff and equipment
- Communicate project status across teams and to senior management
- Guide growth and quality of department by implementing and maintaining policies and procedures
- Provide input and support to business finance with project cost estimates and budget review
- Work across the business to successfully deliver against development priorities
- Provide documentation of work and analysis in formal technical reports and presentations
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related degree
- Minimum management work experience of 3 years
- Minimum electrical engineering work experience of 8 years
- Team focused mentality with strong leadership skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both direct reports and across engineering and management teams
- In depth knowledge of analog and digital design concepts, filters, oscillators, and power circuits
- There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain Secret and/or higher level clearance.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles, RF signals, input/output interfaces, and wireless communication technologies
- Experience in circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly
- Experience in analog circuit, RF, digital, and power amplifier design
- Experience in product release, test, and manufacturing

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$95,500-$210,100
