Basic Functions
- Provide technical support on product offerings and solutions to the customers.
- Ensure proposed solution meets the local authority requirements, and accordingly to tender specifications.
- Work closely with consultants, integrators/ contractors, and distributors to offer customers.
- Plan and manage pre-sale activities including pricing, material specifications study and out-sourcing works.
Specific Responsibilities
- Performs project feasibility studies, proposes alternative solutions, specifications deviation from inquiry documents.
- Work on project tender specifications.
- Attend to project sites for survey and assist in integration proposal.
- To lead in discussions with inquirers on influencing specifications change especially on installation design considerations pertaining to KUP Uninterruptible Power Supply system.
- Generates project cost estimation, constantly identifies new vendors / suppliers / contractors for optimum cost consideration.
- Worked together with sales team to generate detailed project proposals, quotations, and technical compliance documents.
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for achieving organization sales target.
- Anticipating end-customer needs by focusing on proactive promotional activities with the target group, building project pipeline with target group and present, explain the advantages and benefits of KUP solutions/products/tools for the purpose to be specified into the project tenders.
- Establishing the overall promotional activity implementation plan for the target group and actively supporting Sales and Marketing engagements regarding the target group supporting business development by identifying and creating new business opportunities.
- Working closely with other vendors to provide a complete and competitive solution, able to identify additional opportunities for business growth.
- Providing a regular report of promotional activities (number of visits, schedules, next steps, number of projects, volume of projects, project specific info) and opportunities giving/receiving information from the sales organization for the purpose of sharing market intelligence.
- Managing and driving targeted customer group’s training by conducting regular training seminars in conjunction with appropriate product marketing and segment managers.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines with 6-8 years of relevant experience; or
- Diploma in Electrical or Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in power products, e.g. Power Systems experience in UPS systems, Medium and Low voltage switchgear, low voltage components and voltage conditioners will be highly appreciated.
- Able to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and electronic control systems.
- Knowledge in site installation works and requirements preferred.
