Your new role

· Application Governance – You would spend 70% of the time in managing the application governance activities involving assessing the application information security risks, audits, non-permitted technologies.

· Applications – Work with onshore and offshore regional teams to ensure the required deliverables are completed on time.

· Audit & Risk– Ensure first-line risk management and controls are in place to support the applications and build risk awareness within the team.

· Communication - Communicate with the users for the immediate/short/long term solutions.

· Engage multiple stakeholders across the organization to gather and understand the functional requirements, security risks for the applications and provide a cohesive and logical solutions to problems in the existing applications.

What you'll need to succeed

• You have good understanding of wide range of technologies including network, security, application architecture, database and operating systems.
• You have strong technical background and are familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• You can multi-task & work independently under tight timelines & challenging environment with minimal supervision.
• You are a good communicator to your team, management, and business stakeholders.
• You have a good understanding of Local Rules and Regulations in Asian markets.
• You are a good team player.

We are hiring for a Technology Engineering Manager, in Singapore for a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and deployment of a robust, efficient, and scalable high-speed trading tech.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers across regions and act as a technical lead
• Work with product managers and multiple stakeholders to ensure project goals align with business needs in trading.
• Establish coding, testing, and deployment standards to ensuring the trading platform’s reliability and security while maintaining maximum efficiency.
• Innovate by staying updated with trading tech advancements and integrating new tools.
• Oversee project timelines, resources, and risks to deliver on time and within budget.
• Secure data and system access to safeguard financial information and meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  5-8 years’ experience in software development related to creating high-frequency, low-latency systems solutions in finance.
• Previous work in finance, FX or CFD sector is preferred.
• Expertise in the technical A to Z of understanding scalable trading systems from network setups, data flows to managing downtime.
• Expertise in the in-depth knowledge of trading algorithms, data structures, and system architecture for real-time operations.
• Technical proficiency in languages like C++, C#, or Go.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a must, to communicate with mandarin-speaking stakeholders in the China region.

An excellent job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sitecore Technical Delivery Lead / Sitecore Technical Project Manager to join one of the most established organisations in South Wales on a permanent basis.

The Sitecore Technical Delivery Lead will lead the delivery of multiple high-profile projects, ensuring that the projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality outcomes. You will produce and manage project plans, prepare progress reports, and liaise with a range of key stakeholders throughout the organisation. You will lead a range of technical projects including Sitecore projects, whilst taking responsibility for proactively managing risks and issues to ensure delivery excellence.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working as a Project Manager/Technical Project Manager/Technical Delivery Lead
• Experience of delivering Sitecore projects
• Sitecore knowledge
• A proven track record of successfully leading and managing technical projects, delivering all change projects to time, quality and cost objectives
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience of delivering a range of enterprise application technologies including Sitecore, GIS, Salesforce etc or experience working with Azure would be an advantage
• Experience using PMI / PRINCE2 / Agile / Architecture-driven agile methodologies or other structured workstream delivery methodologies would be advantageous.
