Qualifications:

• HGV Driving Licence (Cat C)
• City & Guilds or equivalent mechanic qualification
• DVSA approved Nominated MOT Tester or prepared & eligible for immediate training.
• Basic standard in English & Maths.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.

Experiences:

• Good all round knowledge of Planned/Unplanned maintenance procedures relating to both heavy and light goods vehicles (Preferably Refuse Collection Vehicles)
• Able to cope in a physically demanding role.
• Ability to produce high quality work within specified time frames.
• Experience of maintenance & repair of Ground Maintenance equipment.

Pay: £26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care**

As a Senior Care Assistant your key duties include:
• You will be tasked with managing the care team within the Home
• Ensuring that care staff are adhering to CQC guidelines whilst providing exceptional levels of care to residents
• Promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise
• Instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
• Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
• Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour and the annual salary up to £30,888 per annum.
