HR Assistant
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Cannock / Hybrid working
Salary: £12.85 - £13.30 per hour (depending on experience)

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager and supporting the HR management team you will be:
* Supporting Line Managers with general HR queries, welfare meetings, investigations and grievances, including note taking and
attending some site meetings.
* Compiling and analysing HR Data metrics and statistics including recruitment, labour turnover, training, employee relations
issues, absence and performance evaluations.
* Lead for internal and external audits, governance and risk management.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to review, improve and record HR processes, documents and policies.
* Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System including onboarding of new starters to
ensure the best possible experience
* Processing starters, contract changes and leavers through our HR Information System.
* Supporting the implementation of an e-learning platform across the business and coordinate training sessions and courses.
* Assisting with a variety of HR projects
What we are looking for:
You will have a minimum of 2 years working in a Human Resources Department and ideally hold a CIPD level 5 qualification (CPP) –
we are looking for someone who has experience of supporting Line Managers with HR queries and meetings including note taking.
The ideal candidate will have experience of producing and analysing HR data metrics for Line Managers and the Senior Leadership
Team. They will have a good knowledge of HR practice and process, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with
the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively. An effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication
skills, you will be a strong team player with an excellent can-do attitude.
You will be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 with a good working knowledge of HR Information Systems and databases.
