The post holder during the duration of the UK-DELL project will report to the Project Director and will have a key role in the team leading UK -DELL - a multi-million pound DEFRA funded collaborative research and demonstration programme. While
the focus of the post is to support the delivery of the project, the post holder will also work closely with a dedicated project administrative officer, alongside the AFBI Finance, Research support and Corporate teams to ensure compliance with AFBI's corporate requirements as well. The main duties within the UK-DELL project and after completion will include:

Project Governance and Finance
* To work closely with the Project Director, Work Package leaders and the project management team , and the Steering Groups (involving project partners) to ensure the delivery of the project.
* To ensure that allocated budgets are handled in a fully audit able manner compliant with funder procedures, and to supply appropriate financial data to funder when required to do so.
* To collate, process, upload and check financial claims made by the Project Partners for the purpose of the project.

Project Reporting
* In consultation with Project Partners, to coordinate preparation of relevant scientific and technical progress reports (monthly and annually) and submit them to the funding body.
* In consultation with Project Partners, to coordinate inputs to the final Project Report.
* To produce financial reports on behalf of the research programme and to submit them to funding body as required.

Project Communications Plan (stakeholder management)
* To assist with implementation of the Project Communication Plan within and with consortium partners.
* To assist with coordination and delivery of various project events as detailed in the Project Communication Plan, including workshops, conferences, stakeholder meetings etc.

Specific Experience / Qualifications required

• A third level qualification at degree level (e.g. B.A.,B.Sc.).
• At least 3 years' experience of project management in a scientific or business context.
• At least 2 year experience of financial reporting within an organisation.
• At least 2 years' experience of stakeholder engagement and writing reports for funders / stakeholders

Working closely with a team of design engineers and CAD technicians, you will carry out conceptual and detailed design of permanent and temporary structures and equipment related to the construction of tower systems, bridges and complex structures.
You will prepare method statements, design and prepare static analyses using FEA programmes, prepare detailed calculations, sketches and drawings using Autocad. You will be involved at site level to assist in lifting and moving operations. This vacancy offers a hybrid working solution.

What you'll need to succeed
With a degree in design engineering related to construction and with experience in analysis and design of structures, particularly steel. You will have strong IT skills, including FEA programmes and MS packages. You will have experience of temporary works related to heavy lifting and moving projects.

Your new role
As a Senior UX Designer you'll be contributing and holistically designing digital products across Citi's Functions Technology Controls Organisation. Working with our Head of Design & UX for Controls and partnering with our Product and Engineering teams, you'll be applying your extensive skills and experience to create high quality designs in all stages of the UX design process - including discovery, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, testing and high-fidelity design.
Responsibilities

*Work closely with research, senior stakeholders, product managers and engineering teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions
*Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma, along with our established Design System
*Ensure that designs follow best practices and use research & testing to inform and validate
*Confidently challenge the status quo, encouraging all involved to address root causes to ensure the best outcome for users
*Apply a positive and constructive attitude when giving and receiving all feedback
*Deliver high-quality design assets to the engineering team, along with clear guidance to ensure all aspects of the designs are fully understood.
*Provide ongoing support to engineering, with regular UX review checkpoints to ensure quality and that the system is being built as designed
*Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools
*Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility
*Deliver on time, identifying and managing risks to ensure timelines are met, and escalating where needed
*Lead by example, supporting, training and developing junior members of the team.
*Moderate conflicts between colleagues and/or stakeholders, guiding to constructive resolution
*Take a leading role in the wider UX community, helping to define our standards and practices

What you'll need to succeed
*5-10 years of industry UX Design experience
*Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving
*Experience on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects
*Creative flair and a good eye for design
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Outstanding skills in professional design tools, such as: Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, InVision.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

Based in Ballymena and working 36 hours per week Monday to Friday 9-5pm, the successful candidate will work at an Executive Officer grade on a temporary basis, for our client's Recruitment and Selection department that specialises on youth and education support programmes and services across NI. This role will entail both working in the office in one of the five sites and working at a hybrid approach, working from home as and when required. The successful candidate will work within the Recruitment & Selection Division and will provide administrative support, follow set procedures, and exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions under general supervision. Training is provided for the first initial weeks.



Duties will include:
