These job roles are available across both KS1 and KS2 and will require you to provide additional support to pupils. Your new role
In this job role, you will be responsible for helping in both group and 1:1 settings with pupils in KS1 and KS2, and this could be helping across English, Maths, Reading and Writing. Depending on the needs of the school, you may be asked to move around classes, so you will need to be flexible and approachable. It is important for you to work closely with the other teachers and TA's to ensure pupils are progressing, and that work is in line with pupil ability. You will become an integral part of the school, joining a team of TA'S who are very experienced and that you will be able to learn from.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to support Pupils in Primary Schools in Rochdale

Your role will be working within the whole classroom, supporting groups or individual students, under the direction of the class teacher, introducing tasks, monitoring pupil's work and using a range of strategies to support their learning.


You need to be confident in KS1 and KS2 Curriculum Knowledge and have high levels of communicative and written English.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum 3-6 months experience in an education setting.

Experience supporting Pupils with SEND would be an advantage.

Candidates must be patient and empathetic towards pupils and have a real interest in working with primary pupils.
