The Lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CV/Interventional) operates within the Department of Vascular Surgery independently and without direct supervision as the technologist responsible for the coordination and performance of angiographic procedures, complex vascular, non-vascular and therapeutic procedures. These exams are performed with and without contrast materials. The purpose of these exams is to achieve diagnostic studies so that proper diagnosis and treatment will be delivered.

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist to maintain control of the Vascular Interventional Department by coordinating, organizing, executing the work potential for expediting workflow patterns within the department.
