Cygnet Hospital Sheffield offers a low secure service for women and CAMHS services for male and female adolescents over three distinct wards. Our CAMHS services include CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, CAMHS acute and CAMHS low secure services.

This role is based on Pegasus Ward. This is a 13 bed general adolescent acute service, providing support for young people, both male and female, and is focused on helping them return home. The service is dedicated to helping young people maintain their school placements, if possible, and admissions can be either formal or informal.

Your role responsibilities…

• Provide high quality treatment under the direction of a Consultant Psychiatrist
• Assess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service users
• Participate in weekly ward rounds & attend multidisciplinary meetings
• Attend Care Programme Approach & Section 117 meetings & mental health review tribunals
• Provide up-to-date clinical information at all meetings
