Fixed vacancies available in Katherine, NT
Are you a dedicated and compassionate general practitioner (GP) looking to make a real impact on community health? We’re thrilled to introduce the ground-breaking Single Employer Model (SEM), a pioneering initiative designed to revolutionize GP services in our region. The SEM is a trailblazing approach that brings together GPs under a single employer, NT Health.
As an SEM GP, you’ll have the chance to work across various healthcare settings, from Hospital to remote primary care, mainstream General Practice and Aboriginal health services. The SEM provides you with one contract to work across multiple settings, ensuring consistent access to accrued benefits and allowances.
This position has an attractive remuneration package, including base salary with on call and overtime allowances, rural/remote living and retention allowances, professional development allowance, and superannuation. There is allowance for 6+ weeks annual leave per year, as well as study/professional development leave. You may be eligible for the Rural Procedural Grants Program or the Workforce Incentive Program. There are also Medicare incentive benefits for those working in ED or community GP. Assistance with relocation expenses and accommodation on arrival is provided. FIFO arrangements can be negotiated.
