About the role

Set within the busy Golf shop, you will deal with all customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner, drive revenue and take opportunities to recommend relevant products whilst providing excellent guest service.

RECEPTION & GUEST SERVICES

The Reception and Guest Services team ensures exceptional service for every guest, welcoming over 300 daily check-ins and outs. With outstanding customer service, they exceed expectations by assisting with procedures, providing information, and addressing concerns. About the role

This role is 40 hours per week and you will be working 5 days out of 7.

As Reception Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and high performance of our fantastic reception team.

Your duties will include:

• Supervising, training and mentoring shift leaders and receptionists to ensure exceptional guest journey at all times
• Producing rotas according to business levels
• Following up queries where necessary on behalf of receptionists and shift leaders
• Performance management of the front office team, including job appraisals, observations, and identifying training requirements
• Providing excellent service to each and every guest

About the role

A Chef de Partie within the Ryder Grill kitchen your day will be focused on the À la Carte menu, you will have five and a half hours preparation time Monday to Saturday working from specification sheets to get all food items ready to serve.

Set up and preparation of menus items for your section ready for food service, numbers based on hotel occupancy for the resort and you will prepare food in advance for the coming week you may also be expected to take ownership for the kitchen in the absence of the kitchen management team.

You will also be responsible for:

• Cooking and delivering beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers
• Understanding the importance of allergens and dietary safety within your kitchen
• All temperature logging for hot items and refrigerators to ensure full compliance
• Running a section of the kitchen throughout a busy service and providing support to your team mates to ensure a fast and accurate delivery.
• Clearing and cleaning of your section and other areas of the kitchen to ensure we remain compliant

About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ of experience in a fine dining kitchen and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

In addition, you will be:

· Passionate about food and working with seasonal ingredients

· Standards-driven, with a fantastic eye for detail

· Experienced in taking ownership over your section and working towards guidelines of portion control including weights and measurements and logging all wastage for more accurate GP %

Marketing

The marketing team at The Belfry supports all areas of the Resort, creating a fast-paced and collaborative team and work environment. Winners of Marketing Team of the Year 2021 and nominated for The Cateys in 2023, they are passionate about representing the Belfry brand to all audiences.

About the Role

As part of the Marketing Team, the Content Marketing Executive will generate and deliver engaging content for our social and digital channels, with the objectives of brand awareness, audience engagement and driving sales.

Working closely with the wider team, the Content Marketing Executive will use their creative skills to find new ways to communicate the Belfry story to new and existing guests who choose to spend their time with us.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness, engagement and sales

• Responsible for managing, creating and scheduling all content on social media channels including Insta, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn
• Manage the content calendar to ensure a regular presence across all channels is tied in with wider activity including email marketing, website updates and digital campaigns

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a member of the hotel maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair work to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Resort Desk

Our Resort Desk is often the first step in The Belfry experience. Set within the busy reservations office, this role is a great opportunity to introduce our guests to all we have to offer, and ensure their visit is smooth through excellent communication with all departments.

Salary

The on-target earning potential for this role is £23524 - £24689 annual salary, compromising of a base hourly rate of £22630 - £23795 plus a qualified estimate of £894 gratuities per annum.

About the role

This role is a 40 hours per week contract, working 5 days out of 7. The reservations office is open from 9-7pm, so shift times can be varied.

You will also be responsible for:

• To sell, manage, and upsell The Belfry’s facilities to their full potential, maximising all revenue opportunities to grow resort revenue, achieving targets and building client relationships.
• To be instrumental in the smooth and professional running of resort services through excellent inter-departmental communications
• To ensure that whichever method a client chooses to communicate with The Belfry that the booking and queries are dealt with promptly and thoroughly

About you

The ideal candidate will have had experience with guest-facing or telephone roles and experience working in a spa Reception or spa Reservations department

You will also be:

• Someone who genuinely enjoys providing exceptional customer service
• Driven to deliver guest and financial targets

· Able to develop strong relationships with your guests, teams and colleagues

· Ability to work on your own initiative

· Great organisational skills

· An understanding of Opera, Premier Spa, Concept, Excel etc.

About the role

The IT Technician is a brand new role reporting into the IT Manager and will be based on site and will provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for staff and liaise with our 3rd party IT service providers. The role will assist in bringing more IT support in house, handle 1st and 2nd line issues and support with delivering IT projects.

The duties of our IT Technician include:

· Provide onsite IT support for staff.

· Build, roll out, and replace PCs and hardware/software.

· Set up and manage mobile devices and tablets.

· Liaise with 3rd party IT service providers to ensure smooth business operations.

· Maintain on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory.

· Manage user accounts including new user creation, and processing leavers and movers.

· Maintain an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers.

· Continuously improve IT documentation and policies.

· Assist Operations with daily IT issues as needed.

· Supporting and implementing new IT projects.

About you

· 2 years+ experience of 1st, 2nd line IT support.

· Good knowledge of Windows PCs, PC Builds, mobile phones, MS Office suite.

· Good knowledge of Active Directory, MFA, Azure AD / 365, Intune.

· Basic network awareness and troubleshooting skills.

· Familiarisation of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

· Familiarisation of monitoring tools, ticketing software.

· ITIL certification (advantageous)

· Enthusiasm and willing to learn.

· Keen to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
