GULMOHAR INDIAN RESTAURANT As the Restaurant Manager at Gulmohar Indian Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in leading our team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, menu planning, and customer engagement. Your leadership will ensure that we maintain high standards of service, food quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities (As per ANZSCO): Plan and Organize Daily Operations : Ensure smooth restaurant operations, including managing the front and back of house to deliver high-quality service. Manage Staff : Hire, train, supervise, and roster staff, ensuring optimal performance and job satisfaction. Menu Planning and Development : Collaborate with chefs to plan and modify menus, taking into account customer preferences, trends, and profitability. Customer Relations : Interact with customers to address complaints and improve service quality, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the restaurant. Budget and Financial Management : Monitor financial transactions, prepare reports, and work within the budget to maintain profitability. Inventory and Stock Control : Oversee stock levels, order supplies, and ensure efficient inventory management to avoid shortages. Promotions and Marketing : Develop and implement marketing strategies, including promotional activities and special events, to increase footfall and revenue. Supplier Coordination : Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and negotiate contracts for optimal pricing. Quality Control : Maintain high standards for food and beverage presentation, taste, and service.
