Key Responsibilities

Purpose and Scope

• Provide performance and process expertise and operational excellence in Energy & Utilities assets (Cogen Power plant, Demin Water and Steam production, Boiler etc) management to ensure good plant availability, reliability and optimization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment to prepare the equipment for the first start-up.
• Manage and supervise a team of experienced commissioning technicians to execute Live equipment testing in a highly professional and safe manner.
• Ensure QAQC integration within commissioning processes and procedures.
• Witness and provide contractor resources to support FAT as required.
• Preparation of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports, and site correspondence.
• Liaise closely with the client QAQC/Testing teams.
• Generating MSCR's (Maintenance System Change Request) at the project handover stage.
• Ensure that commissioning acceptance criteria is aligned with design specification and client requirements.
• Any other duties required by the Commissioning Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Design systems and select equipment, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
• Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure requirements are met.
• Define work scope and specifications for contractors.
• Oversee plant startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Lead all aspects of electrical engineering, including the design of electrical power distribution systems, switchboards, MCCs, and control systems.
• Responsible for creating Single Line Diagrams and Control Schematic drawings.
• Enhance engineering capabilities and collaborate with the sales team on project proposals and bids.
• Review customer specifications and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Execute projects and perform loop checks.
• Prepare and manage tender activities.

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma/Degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Experience in FEED of LV/MV switchboards, MCC, MCB, Control Panels etc and in Water & Waste Water industries
