This is a 6-month job opportunity funded by the Cancer Alliance. The role is critical in improving the accuracy and timeliness of tracking oncology treatment pathways, ensuring that patients receive necessary interventions promptly, and supporting the hospital in meeting national cancer performance targets, particularly the 62-day standard. The role involves facilitating the development, management, and administration of the weekly NMUH cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. It is a national cancer standard that all new cases are discussed in a weekly MDT meeting to agree on a management plan.
• Collaborate with cancer services managers and key stakeholders, including cancer site lead consultants, surgeons, histopathologists, radiologists, cancer nurse specialists, physicians, oncologists, medical secretaries, admissions, medical records, and X-ray library.
• Facilitate and administer the weekly cancer MDT meetings.
• Ensure effective tracking of patient oncology pathways, with a focus on meeting national cancer performance standards. This role is essential in streamlining cancer treatment coordination and ensuring that patients are not subject to delays in their treatment plans.
• To ensure that the data for the NHS National Waiting Times Standards for the 14, 31 and 62 day targets is collected, monitored and performance managed prospectively for reporting on a weekly basis; liaising with MDT membership and the cancer managers to ensure compliance with the targets. Purpose and Background:
The Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Insurance to support the SBTi Financial Institutions Net Zero (FINZ) Standard, which will introduce insurance underwriting targets.
As the Insurance Subject Matter Expert, the position will focus on finalizing the FINZ standard, working with (re)insurance companies to set FINZ insurance underwriting targets, collaborating with SBTi Corporate and Sector teams to ensure coherence and consistency, and managing one junior SBTi staff.

This role plays an important part in achieving:

- The finalization, publication, and socialization of the insurance components of the SBTi’s new FINZ Standard.
- Lead the development of an Explanatory Note providing additional support on the implementation of the Standard for insurance underwriting.
- Support for the SBTi Target Validation Team (TVT) to develop the Criteria Assessment Indicators for insurance underwriting targets.
- Coordination with the SBTi Impact team on the first tranche of (re)insurance company FINZ SBTs.

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (Shifts and some weekend working)

We are looking for highly motivated people to be part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing positive care for our service users across Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust’s Hospital Division, in the role of Band 3 Activity Worker.

Working across acute inpatient, psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), rehabilitation and/or older adult wardat Highgate Mental Health Centre,the post-holder will be supervised by the ward OT and will work with the ward team to co-ordinate a programme of meaningful ward activities based on service user choice.

Training will be provided and post holders will be expected to participate in their own skill development. All ward based staff are required to undertake training in the Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA).

The post holder will be ward based, providing a programme of meaningful activity in order to support service user recovery. They will be expected to co-ordinate and run a variety of individual and group activities based on service user choice.

The post holder will liaise closely with nursing and OT staff to maximise opportunities for positive engagement in line with service user care plans.

The working pattern will comprise two shift patterns, including some weekend working.

The post holder will be required to maintain individual service user records and additional information to support audit.

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out all duties in a manner that will respect and maintain the dignity of the individual patient at all times.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (from job description)

Therapeutic and Recreational Activity
• To coordinate a programme of ward activity and support service users to engage in a range of activity opportunities.
• To undertake supervision of patients as delegated and within sphere of own competence.
• To accompany patients to different on and off site venues appropriate to the activities in their care plan.
• To recognize and report a change in the patient’s behavior in relation to their mental state. To observe and report on patients’ abilities and progress with activities.
• Under supervision, to record interventions with patients in the multi-disciplinary notes. To participate in the maintenance of a safe environment by being aware of one’s own safety and always negotiating plans with the shift co-coordinator.
• To act as a resource for patients to assist them in continuing their interests and skills when discharged from the ward(s).

Communication
• To work in ways that promote shared responsibility within the ward team, demonstrating support, respect and courtesy towards immediate colleagues and colleagues from other organizations or services.

• To listen carefully and respond appropriately to patient and carer questions and concerns.

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic people to join our Hospital Division In-Patient Mental Health Services as Clinical Support Workers at our entry level (AfC Band 3) for mental health NHS careers.

These roles involve direct, face to face patient care to acutely unwell service users who have been admitted to an in-patient psychiatric ward.

Clinical Support Workers are the backbone of our Nursing and Health Care workforce - they are based on our wards and work as part of our Nursing teams working alongside our Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Psychologists and Psychiatrists caring and supporting services users through the most challenging part of their mental health crises.

Successful candidates will be expected to undertake focussed one to one therapeutic conversations with service users who are in hospital, some of whom may be detained under the Mental Health Act. We are looking for Specialty Doctor to provide high quality, effective, comprehensive, culturally-sensitive mental healthcare to patients within the Community Integrated Mental Health Service (CIMHS) North East sub-team. CIMHS provides integrated mental health care with primary care networks in Newham. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to the position of Neonatal Governance Lead Nurse within our Sunrise Neonatal Unit.

These are new posts to support the expanding gastroenterology department and we are looking for someone who can help deliver our endoscopy service and contribute to endoscopic training as well as to deliver subspecialty outpatient gastroenterology.
