The Finance Services Department (FSD) under the Finance Division supports the operational departments in areas of transactional accounting including but not restricted to payments, revenue, fixed assets and costing of fees and charges, etc. It maintains proper and correct accounting records ensuring the integrity of NEA’s financial records.
Working in the Finance Services Department, you will be responsible for the following:
• Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month and year-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and prepare management reports
• Review of work processes for system enhancement and internal controls
• Lead in the preparation, consolidation and submission of periodic returns
• Liaise with departments/divisions and ministries/agencies on returns and submissions
• Provide advice and support on financial matters
• Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits
• Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers

• A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Independent, hardworking, positive and highly motivated, flexible and resourceful
• Meticulous and able to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Organised and able to multi-task
• You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
