We are currently recruiting for experienced L6 (CIAG) Qualified Careers Advisers to join our Education Development Trust youth careers team from December 2024 to provide careers advice, guidance and support to individuals and groups of young people at school or college.

Role Type:

We have positions to suit all working preferences; full time, part time, zero-hour, term time, onsite, fixed term & permanent contracts.

Please note that some positions are presently only available, subject to contract.

Key duties:

You will produce tailored careers information, advice, and guidance to meet the needs of young people and support the school in achieving the Gatsby benchmarks. These are face to face, term time only vacancies in schools.

You will have:

Level 4 or 6 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG)
Experience of working with young people preferably in a school or college setting
Thorough knowledge of education, employment, training and personal development opportunities that are available for young people/labour market information.
Provide careers advice and guidance in a one-to-one setting or group workshop/assemblies to support students with their career aspirations.
Arrange career talks and a range of activities for students.
Have the ability to engage with and inspire young people with SEND and disadvantaged as well as with their parents/carers.
Support the Schools or College Careers Leader to implement and enhance the schools programme to contribute towards meetings the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Demonstrate professional commitment to Children's rights, equal opportunities and diversity.
Undertake administration duties to ensure that all delivery evidence is complete and compliant in line with contract and quality standards.
Experience of working with vulnerable groups and those with special educations needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Clinical Specialist Podiatrist (Diabetes) will:
Clinical Practice
Act as a recognised expert podiatric resource for specialised clinical advice to patients, peers and other medical staff including Consultants and General Practitioners.
Ensure professional standards are maintained in accordance with CORU, The College of Podiatry (UK) Guidelines on Minimum Standards of Clinical Practice for Podiatry.

1. Act as first point of contact within the charity via email and telephone, with responsibility for onward direction of all contact
2. Initial and external liaison for awareness raising talks, ensuring that talks are organised and followed up on
3. Maintaining permissions and contract files
4. Overseeing petty cash/invoices and preparing monthly financial returns to the accountant.
5. Maintaining Asset Register and log of all donations
6. Proofreading documents/publications
7. Assistance with the safe working practices
8. Maintain notice boards with up to date information
9. Prepare and balance all payments and receipts, including monthly petty cash returns and prepare invoices to be paid
10. To keep records for all grants and donations
11. Keep records of all memberships and make payments on time to avoid cancellation of memberships.
12. Undertake such other duties, which may incidentally arise, development or be assigned, commensurate with the post.

Person Specification:
· Experience within a finance officer role or similar

· Experience working within the charity sector

· Able to speak one of the southern Asian languages

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support professional to join our client team, focusing on the data cleansing activities of the CPS Programme for the Finance work stream. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring master data is accurate, complete, and consistent to facilitate a seamless migration to new ERP solution.

As a self-motivated and resourceful individual, you will work closely with colleagues to resolve purchasing and invoice queries while using the SAP S/4HANA finance system and other in-house finance systems. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate standard SAP reports and extract master data.
• Assist in correcting finance records.
• Build a network of staff contacts to address mutual problems and develop best practices.
• Maintain records and files to an auditable standard.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

• Knowledge of SAP ERP System.
• Experience in a finance-related administrative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to build good working relationships internally and externally.
• Experience handling confidential information.

Desirable:

• Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance systems or equivalent ERP solutions.
• Familiarity with public sector administrative procedures.
• Understanding of finance terminology and processes, including Quote to Cash and Record to Report.

Additional Information

• A willingness to undertake required training courses; SAP training is mandatory.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
