An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated CCAB Qualified Accountant to join the finance team. We are looking for a driven individual who is self-motivated, pro-active with excellent planning and organisational skills. The post holder will lead the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) services. They will be supported by an AP and an AR manager, who will be responsible for ensuring that the teams deliver to timetable and quality standards are achieved.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated CCAB Finalist or Qualified Accountant to join the finance team. We are looking for a driven individual who is self-motivated, pro-active and with excellent planning and organisational skills. The post holder is required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills

The post holder will be a senior member of the Financial Management and service area teams, demonstrating expert accounting and business knowledge, analytical support and clear presentation of highly complex or contentious financial and business information to clinical and non-clinical colleagues. He/she will constructively and positively challenge all aspects of service area financial and business performance and financial management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Through a team of accountants the post holder is required to manage the delivery of accurate and timely monthly performance reports for agreement with the Head of Finance for presentation at service area board meetings and to feed into the Trust’s position for internal and external reporting. There will be a requirement to support the reported performance with an analytical review and to influence actions based upon these findings.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance and supporting the Head of Finance, you will manage a team of accountants to ensure the provision of high quality financial management and financial reporting information as well as providing day-to-day expert advice and support. We are looking for a band 7 Patient Safety and Compliance Co-ordinator to join our team for a fixed term of 12 months. This post will sit within the Trust patient safety team within the Quality Governance department. The team is part of the corporate team of the Trust with a main aim of coordinating functions that relate to quality governance and patient safety.

This is a new role within one of the largest acute care provider organisations in the NHS. The Patient Safety and Compliance co-ordinator role will support the Patient Safety Learning Response Lead to provide Trust-wide oversight of all types of patient safety learning responses as part of the Trust’s annually agreed Patient Safety Incident Response Plan (PSIRP). The successful candidate will be overseeing and monitoring the implementation of safety alerts and will work closely with the Compliance and Safety Lead to support the preparation and coordination of inspections and reviews carried out by the Care Quality Commission and other external agencies.





The key purpose of this role will include but not limited to:





• Collation and presentation of safety performance, analysis of themes and trends



• Find innovative ways of supporting the organisation to learn from incidents and other safety related intelligence



• Development and delivery of training relating to patient safety and compliance



• Liaise and coordinate CQC inspections or visits, development of CQC compliance tools, collation and quality assurance of the information provided



• Oversight and co-ordination of patient safety alerts



• Reviewing all safety related information to gain better understanding of safety of care within the Trust



We are looking for a motivated individual with recent experience of safety investigations, good knowledge of PSIRF and CQC regulatory compliance framework, and experience in the safety and quality governance environment with an emphasis on patient safety, compliance, assurance and clinical risk.
