• Write for regional and global publications on investment opportunities, trading recommendations and market themes in Asian and commodity markets
• Build detailed models that provide an understanding of currency valuation and forecasting
• Present ideas and recommendations to the bank’s clients through multiple channels, including marketing trips to various geographies
• Support key internal stakeholders, including Senior Management in the Investment Bank and Global Research, for topics related to Asia

Your skills and experience:

• Masters degree with 10+ years experience in commodities research with a particular focus on precious and base metals
• Demonstrated experience working on research papers on commodity markets and their interplay with financial markets, macroeconomics, and geopolitical affairs
• Strong quantitative skills set and the ability to create complex, yet easily understandable financial models and charts
• Good interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication in English
• Strong writing and presentation skills and the ability to express quantitative conclusions in both written and spoken form
• Desire to take initiative, express intellectual curiosity, propose new ideas, deliver on independent projects, and excel in a fast-paced environment

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
